By registering and placing a bid in any B&B Estate Sales online auction, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Registration
• All bidders must register with an accurate legal name, address, email, and phone number.
• B&B Estate Sales reserves the right to approve or deny any bidder registration.
2. Bidding
• All bids are binding, final, and cannot be canceled or retracted once placed.
• Bidders are responsible for monitoring their bids and notifications.
• B&B Estate Sales is not responsible for missed alerts, emails, outbid notifications, or website/app errors.
3. Winning Bids & Invoicing
• If you are the high bidder at the auction close, you are legally obligated to complete the purchase.
• Invoices are sent to the email on file shortly after the auction ends.
• Payment is due within the timeframe stated on the invoice (typically same day or within 24 hours).
4. Payment
• Accepted payment methods are credit and debit for all online auctions. No Cash is accepted at pickup.
• Purchases may be subject to a Buyer’s Premiumand/or State Sales Tax where applicable.
• All payments are due after the conclusion of the auction and have a 24-hour grace period. If payment is not received by the deadline, items may be forfeited, relisted, or offered to the next-highest bidder. Non-payment may result in a permanent ban from future sales.
5. Pick-Up/ Shipping & Removal
• All purchases for this particular auction can be picked up from our storage facility in Sewell, NJ, or from the home in Glassboro, NJ, depending on the items won. Winning bidders will be notified of pickup options. We do not accept payment at pickup.
• Shipping may be available and is noted in the items for auction. Shipping is not guaranteed for all items. Larger items must be picked up. Buyers can have items shipped at their expense. Shipping is added to each invoice and is calculated based on weight, size, and distance shipped from zip code 08080. We do combine shipping. If your items require multiple boxes for shipping, you will be charged a shipping fee per box.
• All auctions totaling less than $100 that require shipping will incur a $9.99 Shipping and handling fee. For example, you win an item for $6 and need it shipped. The shipping costs $7.50. You will pay $6.00 for the. item + the postage cost + $9.99 for S&H. If your auction totals $101, you will only pay the postage required to ship the item to you. All Auctions totaling more than $300 require extra insurance at the buyer's expense. All Auctions totaling more than $500 require extra insurance and an adult signature at the buyer's expense. These safeguard requirements are in place to protect your purchase and our liability if the package is lost. There are no fees for local pickup.
If you are picking items up from our location, you must bring:
• Help to lift heavy items
• Tools, packing materials, boxes, blankets, bags, dollies, etc.
• B&B Estate Sales staff are not required to assist with loading or packing.
Winner bidders will receive the pickup address by email or text.
6. Failure to Pick Up
If the buyer fails to pick up items during the scheduled pick-up window and does not notify us:
• Items will be forfeited without refund
• No credits or chargebacks
• Items may be disposed of, donated, resold, or offered to the next highest bidder
• Repeat offenders may be banned from future auctions
7. Item Condition / Inspection
• All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with NO warranties or guarantees.
• No refunds, returns, chargebacks, or exchanges for:
• Defects
• Damage
• Size
• Functionality
• Condition
• Accuracy of descriptions or photos
• Bidders are encouraged to ask questions or preview items when available. We will do our best to highlight/photograph, and call out the flaws we see.
8. Photographs & Descriptions
• Photos are part of the item description.
• Measurements, conditions, ages, and materials are to the best of our knowledge, but are not guaranteed.
• Buyer assumes all responsibility for verifying details before bidding.
9. Technology Disclaimer
• B&B Estate Sales is not responsible for:
• Lost internet connection
• Website errors
• App failures
• Slow devices
• Inability to place last-second bids
• In the event of a technical outage, B&B may extend or reschedule the auction at its sole discretion.
10. Liability
• Buyers enter the property at their own risk.
• B&B Estate Sales is not responsible for injury, accidents, damage, theft, or loss while on the property or handling purchased items.
11. Fraud & Chargebacks
• All sales are final.
• Chargebacks and payment disputes will be reported as theft of goods to local law enforcement.
• Bidders who attempt to reverse payments may be permanently banned and subject to legal action.
12. Reserve Rights
B&B Estate Sales reserves the right to:
• Reject any bid
• Remove bidding privileges
• Withdraw or add items
• Set or adjust reserves
• Cancel any sale for any reason
13. Pickup of Large / Heavy Items
• Buyers are solely responsible for removing large or heavy items without damaging walls, doors, floors, or property grounds.
• Any damage caused by a buyer or their movers is the buyer’s responsibility.
14. Compliance
By bidding, you acknowledge:
• You have read and agree to these terms
• You are legally able to purchase items
• You will complete all payments and pickups as required
