Hoffman Estate Sales

As a realtor, I found Amanda through Facebook and recommended her to one of my clients with a pretty large estate. She was able to work us in, she explained every thoroughly to myself and the client, organized everything beautifully, has a wonderful team of people behind her, very knowledgeable and helped my client get everything sold and left an empty house. Her timeline was quick, she had a crew member accessible, the estate sale was very organized and manageable and she accepts all forms of payment to make everything easy. Since then, she will be my go to! Excellent experience with her and her crew, I highly recommend her!

These guys are AMAZING. We were downsizing from a 2,600 sq. ft. home with garage apartment and guest house, to under 1,500 sq. ft. We were faced with how to deal with almost 18 years' of accumulated "stuff" -- furniture, appliances, artwork, accessories, etc. -- you name it, we probably had it (plus an extra or two, you know -- just in case). 🙄 It was overwhelming, and we knew we couldn't do it on our own. We first contacted another Estate Sale Planner -- you'd recognize the name. They showed interest initially, then just ghosted us. A coworker recommended Hoffman Estate Sales. Amanda and her team literally gave us a new lease on life! Every little detail, every item on the property from the biggest piece of furniture to insignificant, miscellaneous items in the "junk drawer" (make that plural -- junk drawers) -- all of it was managed appropriately. Most items sold at a 3-day estate sale that they spent two weeks setting up for. Items that did not sell were donated to worthwhile local charitable organizations. Any remaining unneeded and/or unwanted items were properly disposed of. Our up-front cost for all of this: $0.00. Zero. Nada. Hoffman's works strictly on a commission basis, so their goal is aligned with your desire to get the best possible price for your saleable items. We were HIGHLY pleased with the results, and never heard a single member of Hoffman's team whine or complain that it was too difficult, or too much stuff (and honestly, it WAS too much). My only caution to prospective clients is to take Amanda seriously when she tells you to get everything you don't want sold OUT of the house! Because if you don't, they WILL sell it out from under you! 😂 Yeah, they're that good.

I initially contacted two other estate sale companies. One was unavailable the other came out to decide whether or not they would accept the job. I did not feel comfortable with them. They were secretive, whispering between one another leaving me with a feeling of distrust. I heard about Amanda Hoffman, met with her and knew she would be the right person for the job. I don't live in Ridgecrest, and after our first in person meeting, Amanda was ready to roll. I thoroughly trusted her coming in and out of the house. She notified me every time she went in and again when she left. She sorted through a large home where my parents had lived for over 50 years. She organized, priced (which included researching items to find their value), and staged everything. She kept a running inventory sheet and kept me apprised every step of the process. I never felt she was hiding anything; everything was transparent. During the sale Amanda made sure it ran smoothly.
She was welcoming and friendly to all visitors. Every day after the sale Amanda went over everything sold and money received. Again, no hidden surprises. The estate sale was successful and Amanda helped clean out all remaining items so the house was ready to sell. I would highly recommend Hoffman Estate Sales!

Amanda and her crew did two separate estate sales for my family. My mother-in-law passed last year and early this year we did her estate sale and Amanda's crew did an amazing job putting 60 years of stuff out on display and sold close to all of it.
Then my wife's aunt needed to clean up her way too overcrowded home. Not quite an estate sale, more of a yard sale type of just collections of things. They did an impressive job putting that together in three storage units. (The aunt didn't live in a place where you could have a sale at.)
They sold a bunch of stuff that we were so glad didn't have to be hauled away, and the aunt made a good bit of money.
Amanda was honest, fair, and reliable to get these jobs done. It was all wrapped up at the end nice and tidy. GREAT job Amanda!!!

Amanda and Brandon were life-savers when it came to helping us get my Dad’s estate sorted. My wife and I were lost when it came to values for stuff and how to put together a sale.
