Beautiful original oil painting by listed Pennsylvania/New Jersey artist Paul A. Bloser (1891–1971). This charming autumn landscape depicts a serene rural scene with vibrant red and orange trees, a winding stream with stone bridge, path, and rustic buildings under a soft sky. Signed lower left 'PAUL BLOSER.' Painted on cardboard (oil on board), housed in what appears to be its original ornate gold-tone frame. Framed measurements: 17 1/2 inches wide x 13 1/2 inches high. Condition is good 'as found' with a couple of minor scratches/paint losses consistent with age — displays beautifully with no major issues. Victorian carved wooden corner chair (also known as a roundabout chair), circa late 19th century with classic turned legs on original casters. The square seat measures 19" × 19" and is currently upholstered in an old floral fabric (probably not original). The piece is structurally excellent with gorgeous original patina throughout, but the springs are poking through the bottom and it will need a new seat/bottom — a simple restoration project that will make this chair stunning again. There is also one very small area of loss on the upper-right trim (minor and easily repaired). Dimensions: • Seat: 19" × 19" square • Widest point: 27" • Total depth (diagonal): 26" • Back height: 27¼" 90 / 962 -
